5G patrol robot debuts in Shanghai

Shanghai’s first police patrol robot has made its debut at Nanjing Road pedestrian street. The robot has face recognition function. It can broadcast content and can transfer on-site images in real time. A policeman with the East Nanjing Road police station said that it can patrol 24 hours a day. Once 5G technology is integrated into the hardware, people will be able talk to policemen directly through the robot.
