Tomorrow promises to be high-octane and full of drama, with so much still to play for. Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s last ever Ligue 1 match, OGC Nice and AS Monaco battling for the final Champions League spot, St Étienne and Lille for the final Europa League spot.

And then down at the other end of the table, there is a fascinating three-pronged relegation fight, with only one of Gazelec Ajaccio, Toulouse and Reims set to remain in the French top flight.

To wet your appetite, here is a comprehensive set of previews for all of tonight’s matches.

Reims vs Lyon (20:00 GMT)

Reims face a must-win game against Lyon as the Ligue 1 relegation fight culminates on the final day of the season. The hosts currently sit second-from-bottom in the table, one point from safety but with an inferior goal difference to Toulouse. The form book certainly doesn’t favour Reims; they have lost six of their last seven league outings.

Lyon, on the other hand, have very little to play for having practically secured second place thanks to their three point lead and vastly superior goal difference over third-placed Monaco. Their recent form is almost the complete opposite of their opponents, having won six of their last seven league games, most notably last weekend’s 6-1 demolition of Monaco.

Earlier this season, Lyon beat Reims 1-0 at the Stade de Gerland.

Lorient vs Gazelec Ajaccio (20:00 GMT)

The fight to avoid relegation also sees Gazelec Ajaccio travel to the Stade du Moustoir to take on Lorient. The hosts sit 16th in the table on 43 points, enough to see them avoid being dragged into a last day relegation dogfight. Their current form will concern manager Sylvain Ripoll though, as Lorient have lost each of their last three league games.

It’s the visitors that really need the points though, as Gazelec Ajaccio currently sit 18th in the table, just below Toulouse on goal difference, meaning that Thierry Laurey’s men must better Toulouse’s result at the very least if they want to survive. A 4-0 thrashing at the hands of PSG last weekend certainly didn’t help their cause and it means that their fate is now out of their owns hands.

Earlier this season, these two sides drew 1-1 at the Stade Ange Casanova.

Angers vs Toulouse (20:00 GMT)

The final and perhaps most important match of the relegation fight sees Toulouse travel to the Stade Jean-Bouin to take on Angers. The hosts don’t have much to play for, apart from securing their position in the top half of the table. Their recent form suggests as much, having won only one of their last five.

Toulouse, though, have their destiny in their own hands. A win here will see them secure their place in Ligue 1 and relegate both Gazelec Ajaccio and Reims, regardless of their results. A draw would be enough if both of the other relegation candidates fail to win, but manager Pascal Dupraz will definitely be hoping they don’t end up having to rely on the results of others and are able to seal what would be a remarkable escape.

Earlier this season, Angers beat Toulouse 2-1 at the Stadium Municipal.

Monaco vs Montpellier (20:00 GMT)

Monaco have the chance to secure Champions League participation next season as they take on Montpellier at the Stade Louis II. The hosts currently sit third in the table, two points above Nice in fourth, and will be going all out to win this one as even a draw may not be enough, given Nice’s vastly superior goal difference. Last weekend’s 6-1 defeat by Lyon was a big blow in Monaco’s European hopes, but they have the opportunity to put things right here.

Montpellier, meanwhile, have little to play for other than perhaps a spot in the top half. The visitors currently sit 11th in the standings, one point outside the top ten, and head into this match in great form, having won each of their last four league outings.

Earlier this season, Monaco beat Montpellier 3-2 at the Stade de la Mosson.

Guingamp vs Nice (20:00 GMT)

If Monaco fail to win their match, then Nice will have the chance to snatch the final Champions League qualification spot, providing they beat Guingamp at the Stade du Roudourou that is. The home team sit 15th in the standings, unable to reach the top half but safe from relegation. They have won only one of their last five league games and played out a goalless draw with Lille last weekend.

For the visitors though, only a win will do. Nice know that they need to take maximum points from this game and hope Montpellier can produce something against Monaco if they are to stand any chance of overhauling Monaco. Nice have already secured Europa League football at the very least, but a top three finish and the chance to compete with the very best in Europe remains a possibility.

Earlier this season, Guingamp beat Nice 1-0 at the Allianz Riviera.

St Etienne vs Lille (20:00 GMT)

St Etienne and Lille clash at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard with the winners guaranteed to be participating in Europe next season. The hosts currently have the advantage, they sit fifth in the table, one point above their opponents, but saw they recent unbeaten league run end at the hands of Nice last weekend.

Lille, meanwhile, need all three points if they are to leapfrog St Etienne in the table. The hosts have struck form at the business end of the season and are now unbeaten in their last nine league outings. Sixth place may be enough to qualify for the Europa League if PSG win the Coupe de France next weekend, but Lille manager Frederic Antonetti will be anxious to avoid relying on other results.

Earlier this season, Lille beat St Etienne 1-0 at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy.

Caen vs Bordeaux (20:00 GMT)

Caen and Bordeaux meet at the Stade Michel d’Ornano with both sides looking to finish in the top half of the table. Caen currently sit eighth, two places and one point above their opponents. They ended a five match winless run with a 2-1 victory away at Nantes last weekend.

Bordeaux, meanwhile, have lost just one of their last seven league outings, a 3-1 defeat at home to Angers. A top ten finish would represent a success for Bordeaux, considering their dreadful first half of the campaign which saw them fall as low as 17th at one point.

Earlier this season, Caen beat Bordeaux 4-1 at the Matmut Atlantique.

Rennes vs Bastia (20:00 GMT)

Rennes will be hoping to end the season with a win as they face Bastia at Roazhon Park. The hosts are no longer in contention for a European qualification spot following last weekend’s 2-0 loss to Montpellier, a hugely disappointing outcome for the Rennes faithful considering their team has been in the top six for a vast amount of the season.

Bastia, meanwhile, sit 14th on 47 points, comfortably assured of their place in the top flight next season. A 1-0 win over Angers last weekend was a first victory in five league outings for Francois Ciccolini’s team, as they too look to end the season on a high note.

Earlier this season, Bastia beat Rennes 2-1 at the Stade Armand Cesari.

Troyes vs Marseille (20:00 GMT)

Troyes will be playing their final match in Ligue 1 as they host Marseille at the Stade de l’Aube. The home side, who were promoted last summer, will be making an instant return to Ligue 2 rooted to the bottom of the table. They have won just three league games all season and head into this match on the back of consecutive defeats to Montpellier, Bordeaux and Toulouse respectively.

Marseille, meanwhile, will be glad to see the end of what has been a disastourous league campaign for them. They head into this match 13th in the table, only securing safety a few weeks ago, although they have recorded two 1-0 victories in their two most recent league outings, overcoming Angers and Reims respectively , and have a cup final against PSG to look forward to next weekend.

Earlier this season, Marseille thrashed Troyes 6-0 at the Stade Velodrome.

PSG vs Nantes (20:00 GMT)

And finally, champions PSG will be collecting their trophy as they face Nantes at the Parc des Princes. The hosts, who have broken their own record points tally this season, may protect some players ahead of next weekend’s cup final against Marseille, saw a five league game winning streak come to an end last weekend after a 1-1 draw away at Bordeaux.

Nantes, meanwhile, still have a very slim chance of securing a top half finish, in the unlikely case that they emerge victorious at the home of the champions. They certainly aren’t in the best of form at the moment, having won just one of their last seven league outings, but manager Michel Der Zakarian will be hoping to go out on a high.

Earlier this season, PSG beat Nantes 4-1 at the Stade de la Beaujoire.
