Karim Benzema demands that the sextape-blackmail case against him be thrown out
Karim Benzema, indicted in the case of the alleged blackmail sextape for Mathieu Valbuena, filed a motion in early May demanding the case against him to be thrown out, a case that he considers to be “unfair”.
“The request for the case to be thrown out was lodged in early May,” but “the date for the consideration of his request has not be set yet,” a judicial source said.
The Real Madrid man is understood to have encouraged his former teammate Valbuena to pay the blackmailers.
His defence lawyer Sylvain Cormier denounced the case, citing “injustice of the investigation and the procedure,” who defends Benzema alongside Eric Dupond- Moretti.
