Inter Milan in talks with Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa

Serie A side Inter Milan’s Sporting Director Walter Sabatini has entered into talks with French central defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa’s entourage about a January move, according to L’Équipe.

Sabatini was responsible for bringing the now 28-year-old to Roma. The current plan from Sabatini’s point of view is to sign the former Newcastle man to Inter Milan for 6 months before selling him on to Chinese outfit Jiangsu Suning, both clubs share the same owner.

Lyon want around €5m to sell the player, with Fiorentina also having made contact and confirmed interest from Istanbul Basaksehir.
