Neymar confident of Barcelona move, but will not make public declaration against PSG

RMC report this evening that Brazilian superstar Neymar does not intend to force a move away from PSG this summer, but he is confident that a transfer to Barcelona will happen nevertheless.

Missing from PSG’s pre-season training since Monday, the Brazilian has decided not to return until the 15th July, which his camp maintains was the date that they had informed Sporting Director Leonardo that he would be returning.

The outlet also confirms Leonardo’s discussion with Neymar, in which the former Barça man informed PSG’s SD that he wants out of Paris this summer.

Neymar does not apparently feel as if he is the guilty party in this missing pre-season situation, he had always planned to leave Brazil this coming Sunday night and to arrive in Paris on Monday morning. The #10 has accepted that Paris representatives will insist upon a meeting with him as soon as he returns, but his entourage affirm that the plan was always to return on 15th July and Leonardo knew about it.

The 27-year-old remains hopeful about a return to the Catalan club this summer and has told those around him that he is confident that a deal will happen. One certainty in this complex transfer situation, is that he has an absolute desire is a return to Barça and not to join any other club.

The outlet also claims that the recent resignations at the Catalan side’s board level are as a result of internal disagreements regarding a possible Ney return.
