Montpellier interested in Stephy Mavididi (Juventus/Dijon)

L’Équipe report that Ligue 1 side Montpellier have registered an interest in signing 21-year-old English attacker Stephy Mavididi, who spent the 2019/20 campaign on loan at Dijon from Juventus.

MHSC have registered an interest in a number of attacking options, including Monaco forward Moussa Sylla, whose contract expires in June and AS Nancy’s 22-year-old attacker Malaly Dembélé.

Aside from the above pair, Montpellier have been impressed by Stephy Mavididi – the 21-year-old has scored 8 goals in 30 matches this season. DFCO have an option to buy the player from Juventus, the amount for which is not currently known, but MHSC aren’t wasting any time and have entered into discussions with Mavididi to try to convince him to join them instead.
