Football legend Ronaldinho reveals his biggest regret at PSG
Brazilian footballing icon and Barcelona legend Ronaldinho spent a two-year spell at Paris Saint-Germain between 2001 and 2003.
Speaking to Carré, Ronaldinho, now 42, admitted that he would’ve stayed at PSG for much longer if the formations and other factors had suited him. He said:
“My worst memory at PSG? It’s not to have stayed longer! It’s really the worst thing that happened to me. If it had been in another formation, with different coaches or other things, I would have liked to stay. But that’s all up to God now, and I ended up going to a wonderful club, where I was very happy.”
After leaving France, Ronaldinho made that famous transfer to Barcelona, which eventually forged his path to stardom. Nevertheless, the Brazilian was able to make 77 appearances during his short stay in the French capital. He notched up 25 goals and 17 assists in all competitions. Only a trophy was missing from his short-lived episode at PSG.
