Quantico (and soon to be Baywatch) star Priyanka Chopra dazzles on the cover of InStyle’s August issue, but doing so wasn’t too much of a challenge for the 33-year-old actress. On Friday, the Indian-born talent got to sit down with a fresh new copy (available on newsstands and for digital download now) and dished on just how easy the photo shoot was. “This shoot was one of the easiest shoots I’ve ever done. Everything was prepared. The team was so ready. The clothes were amazing,” she said in a live broadcast on our Facebook page.

In addition, Chopra answered fan questions and opened up about everything from her go-to snack of choice to how she maintains her flawless skin.

1. She doesn’t mess around when it comes to skin care.
“The one thing I do no matter where I am, how tired I am, how jetlagged I am, I take off my makeup and I make sure that I moisturize and cleanse before I get to bed. Never, ever sleep with your makeup on—even mascara, cannot!”

2. She’s hoping to stay in front of the camera—for now.
“I don’t think I’m ready to direct yet. I’ve been in the business for such a long time, I’ve done so many, like you said, multi-hyphenated things, but directing is such a hard thing because, you know, when you’re on a set, every single person on a set, which is like 300 people, the responsibility is yours. And that’s something I’m not ready for.”

3. The actress undoubtedly loves her job.
“The best thing about being a film star, I think, is being able to access people all over the world without actually going anywhere. Whether I’m on the television or whether I’m on, you know, a theater or a movie screen or on the radio, I can touch and feel millions and millions of people without being anywhere and that’s the best part, and the most thankful part about being a movie star.”

4. She’s fiercely competitive.
“I always knew that I was someone with drive and I like to win. So no matter where I was, even when I was in a small town and I was in high school, I always liked to come first in competitions or debates or class and have the best grades, and I’m just competitive like that. So when I look back, I see just a growth of a girl who likes you win … you just have to have drive, wear blinders, and keep going.”

5. Don’t expect her to join Snapchat any time soon.
“I’m a little nervous about Snapchat. I don’t know what I’d put, and I think sometimes I’d have way too much fun. And imagine those nights where I’m like out and about with my friends and I Snapchat at night. I might give away way more than I want to.”

6. Her go-to lipsticks of choice are quite diverse.
“Ruby Woo by Mac. I love this brown that I’m wearing by Anastasia. Nars makes amazing lipsticks, but I like them to be matte. I don’t like glossy lipsticks ‘cause my mouth is so big anyway. When I put gloss on them, like my lips walk in two minutes before me and that’s not fun.”

7. The secret to her luscious locks goes way back to childhood.
“My mom and my grandmother used to put coconut oil on my hair when I was a baby and I used to hate it … but now I thank her for it.”

8. Her favorite snack is unsurprisingly glamorous.
“All food is my favorite food. Food is my favorite food. I was born to be a connoisseur of food. But my soul food, which is a really strange thing, and I’ll admit this on an international platform, OK, is caviar and chips. I like watching television with a little cup of Beluga sitting in ice, Beluga caviar, not the vodka, with Lay’s; it’s just amazing and somebody should try it.”
