Tuesday night’s Impact episode stopped a four-week viewership slide for the first week that Pop TV was accessible on major cable outlet AT&T U-verse. However, it was the second-least-watched episode on Pop, trailing last week’s show.
TNA Impact Viewership Tracking 2016
March 1: TNA Impact drew a combined audience of 326,000 viewers, improving 10 percent from last week’s audience of 297k for the “Lockdown” special.
Impact drew 258,000 viewers in the original airing at 9:00 p.m. EST, up from 210k last week.
The replay then drew 68,000 viewers, which was the fewest thus far on Pop.
– DEMOGRAPHICS: Impact’s median age viewer was 55.1-years-old, the second-oldest audience on Pop.
The split was 77 percent males 18-49 and 23 percent females 18-49. Impact drew the fewest number of f18-49 viewers thus far on Pop.
– Overall, if removing last week’s show, this would have been the least-watched show of the year. Impact was opposed by Super Tuesday election coverage across cable TV news outlets, so that likely impacted viewership, especially among older viewers.
TNA will need to recover after this phase of the 2016 election cycle rolls through.
